Pro zakázníky tím plyne značná úspora, nové moderní motory Pentastar s použitím kvalitních olejů by měly delší výměnné intervaly zvládat bez větších problémů.<br />

Tradičně bodovaly modely RAM pickups (6,515 ks), Caravan (5,222 ks) a Journey (3,148 ks). Chrysler 200 zaznamenal 141% nárůst na 1,323 ks.<br />
Wranglerů se prodalo 2 205 ks.<br />

<strong>Chrysler de Mexico</strong> prodal za červenec 8,353 ks s 15% nárůstem oproti červenci 2011 a pokračuje tak již třetím měsícem v nárůstu prodejů. Značka Chrysler zaznamenala prodej 449 ks vozidel , Town and country měl nárůst 37% a 300 nárůst 57%. <a href="http://www.allpar.com/model/jeep/jeep-history.html"><br />Jeep </a> měl nárůst 56% a prodal celkem 599 ks .<br />

Protože sanační plán Dr. Zetsche jaksi nevyšel a naopak koncern který byl v zisku postupem času přivedl do ztrátu, rozhodli se u MB opustit potápějící se parník.....zbabělé řešení za které ale nese odpovědnost pouze Mercedes<br /><br /><u><b>Mýtus č. 3</b></u> : Chrysler zbankrotoval protože to byl šrot<br />
<u><b>Realita:</b></u> o ochranu před věřiteli (což není bankrot) požádal Cerberus proto, že mu došly peníze na vývoj a proto že neměl dostatek finančních prostředků na další provoz, vinou krize na trhu osobních a leh. užitkových vozů, které v USA v té době postihla všechny výrobce a prodejce. Ve stejném období ale pro rok 2013 je naplánováno ukončení produkce motoru 4,7 V8, nebot motor 5,7 V8 má lepší výkonové parametry, ovšem díky MDS prakticky stejnou spotřebu. Je však možné že ukončení výroby motoru 4,7 V8 přijde i dříve.<br />
<br />
Naopak Chrysler už pilně testuje a vyrábí ověřovací sérii motoru 3,2 V6. Ten patří do rodiny Pentastar a bude vybaven systémem START/STOP. Na motoru je navíc oproti současnému 3,6 V6 několik dílčích změn které mají výrazně přispět k nižší spotřebě.<br />
<br />
Pro rok 2014 jsou plánovány turbo verze, jak základní turbo, tak i biturbo. Obě varianty mají mít objem 3,0 litru. Základní verze má mít výkon 370 HP a twin turbo 420 HP. S vývojem má pomoci Maserati/Ferrari, přičemž Maserati má být i odběratelem těchto motorů. <br />
<br />
Plány na verzi 3,3 V6 byly zřejmě definitivně zrušeny, nebot spotřeba by byla téměř shodná se současným 3,6 V6. Stejně tak se odkládá zavedení použití přímého vstřiku na období 2014-2016. <br />

Byly to právě americké zančky, které zavedly do sériové výroby řadu vychytávek, vynálezů a vylepšení. Pojdme se na ně v tomto článku podívat blíže:<br />

</b></u><br />
<u><b>1) Synchronizovaná převodovka<br />
</b></u>Cadillac zavedl jako první na světě <b>synchronizovanou převodovku „Synchro–Mesh Silent–Shift“ už v roce 1928. <span style="font-weight: normal;">Po něm toto převzali všichni další a převodovky bez synchronů začaly pomaličku mizet.</span></b><br />
<br />
<u><b>2) Automatická převodovka - fenomén století</b></u><br />
<br />
S prvním prototypem přišli v roce 1904 bratři Sturtevanovci. Jejich vynález měl však řadu nedostatků a do výroby se nedostal. První automatickou převodovkou v sériové výrobě se v roce 1937 stala Automatic Safety Transmission od automobilky Oldsmobile.<br />
V následujících letech prošel systém automatické převodovky více vývojovými stupni. V roce 1948 přišel Buick se systémem hydrodynamického měniče. Tento rok je považován za rok vzniku moderní automatické převodovky.<br />
<br />
<u><b>3) Klimatizace - konec přehřátých interiérů</b></u><br />
<br />
v roce 1939 začala značka Packard montovat do svých vozů první klimatizace. Byla to výbava na přání za příplatek 274 USD. Systém byl příliš složitý, zabral polovinu kufru a navíc nebyl příliš účinný. <br />
První opravu funkční klimatizace v sériové voze tak byla až v roce 1953 chryslerova Airtemp ve voze Chrysler Imperial. Chrysler tak dokázal porazit konkurenci z GM a Fordu.<br />
<br />
<u><b>4) Natáčecí světlomet a kotoučové brzdy na obou nápravách a bezpečnostní pásy</b></u><br />
Toto všechno v roce 1948? Ne skutečně jsme se nezbláznili, toto všechno měl Tucker 1948 (Torpedo). Byl vyroben pouze v počtu 50 ks, díky antikampaním velké trojky, problémům s financováním a dlouhému uvedení na trh, vinou přílišné složitosti těchto technických fines, které za použití dostupných technologií bylo obtížné uvést do sériové výroby. Nicméně Tuckerovi se to podařilo. Tucker navíc chtěl použít i bezpečnostní pásy, jeho snaha ztroskotala, snad proto, že pásu chyběl k dokonalosti třetí úchytný bod. Ten si o deset let později nechalo patentovat Volvo, které se dodnes cítí být v této oblasti průkopníkem.<br />
<br />
<u><b>5) Tempomat</b></u><br />
V roce 1945 vynálezce a inženýr Ralph Teetor přichází se systémem který je názýván moderním tempomatem. Prvním vozem s Teetorovým systéme byl 1958 Imperial. Ten tento systém nazval Auto-Pilot. <br />
<br />
<u><b>6) zlatá 50.léta - přichází elektrická výbava</b></u><br />
<br />
Cadillac Eldorado Brougham - koncept z roku 1995 zaujal zákazníky natolik, že se začal v roce 1957 vyrábět - vybavený vzduchovým pérováním, klimatizací, automatickým nastavením zvolené polohy sedadla řidiče (sedadlo s pamětí) a jeho natáčením k usnadnění nastupování, samočinným otevíráním víka zavazadlového prostoru a čtyřmi dveřmi bez středových sloupků, dále pak rádia s dvěma reproduktory a automatickým vyhledáváním stanic, el. anténou, automatickým el. centrálním zamykání dveří, el. ovl. okny a el. hodinami a tempomatem.Jeden systém se stal pro Cadillac typickým — byla to <b>nohou (pedálem) aplikovaná parkovací brzda</b>, která se při zařazení rychlosti automaticky vypínala.<br />
DeSoto zase překvapilo svým STW, které mělo elektricky ovládané sklo pátých dveří. V 50 letech!!!<br />
<ul></ul><br />
<u><b>7) Turbo - těžké začátky</b></u><br />
První turbem přeplňovaný motor v osobním autě v Oldsmobile Jetfire z roku 1961 vyžadoval od majitele auta pravidelné doplňování nádržky se směsí vody a metanolu, která byla vstřikována do sání. Protože na to ale málokterý vlastník jetfiru důsledně dbal, měly motory osazené turbem firmy Garrett časté problémy. Ty nakonec přiměly Oldsmobile, aby po dvou letech s turbem definitivně skoncoval.<br />
Nicméně Oldsmobile Jetfire a Chevrolet Corvair byly prvními vozy s turbomotorem v sériové výrobě.<br />
<br />
<b><u>8) První airbag - GM leaderem inovací</u></b><br />
<br />
V roce 1974 se objevily první airbagy ve vozech značek Cadillac a Oldsmobile.<br />
<br />
<u><b>9) Katalyzátor - opět prvenství pro GM</b></u><br />
<br />
<span class="links">První katalyzátory byly montovány do vozů Cadillac již roku 1975. P<b>rvní sériový vůz vybavený částečným katalyzátorem se stal Cadillac Seville. </b>Tento katalyzátor do určité míry snižoval obsah škodlivin ve výfukových plynech, ale první skutečný katalyzátor byl vynalezen týmem engelhardských vědců pod vedením Johna J. Mooneye a Carla D. Keitha v roce 1979. O rok později byl vylepšen a vznikl tzv. třícestný katalyzátor</span>.<br />
<br />
<u><b>10) Palubní počítač - předběhl svou dobu</b></u><br />
<br />
První palubní počítač v Cadillacu Seville v roce 1978, který uměl spočítat průměrnou spotřebu i dojezd auta do vyprázdnění nádrže sice nefungoval vždy spolehlivě, ale ve své době to bylo něco unikátního a za použití tehdejších technologií i neuvěřitelného. Příplatek 920 USD byl však pro zákazníky příliš velký a tak si jej pořídilo jen několik nadšenců.<br />
<br />
<b><u>11</u><u>) Vypínání válců - neposlušná elektrika</u><br />
</b>První značkou, která použila u svých motorů systém vypínání válců byl v roce 1981 Cadilac. Jeho motor L62 (V8-6-4) při požadavku na maximální výkon pracoval na všech 8 válců, při mírné jízdě využíval již jen 6 válců a při ustálené rychlosti jen 4 válce. Díky tomuto systému se povedlo významně snížit spotřebu paliva.Bohužel tehdejší elektronika ještě nebyla na takové úrovni a tak systém často nefungoval, budto se válce nevypínaly anebo zůstaly zaseklé na 6ti či 4 válcích. <b><br />
<br />
<u>12) Systém nočního vidění</u><br />
</b>Cadillac u modelu DeVille nabízel v roce 2000 jako příplatkovou výbavu <b>„night vision”</b> — systém nočního vidění, jaký je znám z vojenského prostředí. Díky infračevené kameře umístěné za mřižkou chladiče dokáže do vzdálenosti 720 metrů odhalit jakýkoliv zdroj tepla a jeho obraz přenést projekcí na sklo před řidiče. Chrysler zabodoval modelem 300 Luxury Series zatímco Dodge zabodoval modelem Dart, jehož prodeje začínají v USA příští měsíc.<br />

Oba dva modely tak pronikly do TOP 10 a porazily dalších 40 konkurentů.<br />

Na první pohled zaujme nový grille, ale nejvýraznější změny nalezneme pod kapotou. Zastaralý motor 3,7 V6 byl nahrazen současným Pentastarem 3,6 V6 o výkonu 305 HP (stejný výkon jako v kupé Challenger).<br />
<br />
Ve verzích s motorem 3,6 V6 a 5,7 V8 HEMI (395 HP) se navíc objeví i nová 8mi stupnová převodovka ZF - pod názvem TorqueFlite8 - evokující název starých 3stupnových automatů od Chryslera, díky která klesne spotřeba o 20% (v porovnání s pětistupnovou). Ovládaní převodovky bude otočným kolečkem - hmm skoro jako v Jaguaru :o)<br />

Pět režimů se světlou výškou v rozmezí 10 cm bude možné ovládat na palubní desce nebo dálkovým ovladačem na klíči. Další z modifikací pro nový model je přechod na elektrický posilovač řízení.<br />

Modernizovaný Ram 1500 je navíc výrazně odlehčen. Použití vysokopevnostní oceli na výrobu žebřinového rámu ubralo 13 kg, hliníková kapota motoru je o 12 kg lehčí. Podlaha nákladového prostoru je odlehčena o 3 kg a nový přední nárazník váží o 2 kg méně. Se vzduchovým podvozkem navíc přichází odlehčená hliníková ramena přední nápravy.<br />

Pickupy dostaly nový 8,4" dotykový displej pro navigaci a ovládání rádia, 7" TFT displej mezi přistroji pro ovládání funkcí palubního počítače atd. + novou generaci systému UConnect a úpravy se dotkly i klimatizace a topení atd. Bezklíčový vstup a startování tlačítkem budou na přání, stejně jako deštový senzor a SmartBeam přední světla. Ty mají nově intergrovány i LED pro denní svícení.<br />
<br />
Pickupy RAM tak dělají další krok ke snižování nákladů na provoz zejména úsporou pohonných hmot.<br />
